Capitol Window and Door is a second generation family business that has been serving the residents of South Central Kentucky since 1956. Capitol Window and Door has a reputation throughout this area for professionally installing quality products at fair prices and standing behind their work. A good reputation isn't something that we bought, it's something that we earned by diligently serving the area for more than 50 years.

Alan Cannon
Alan has been the owner and manager of Capitol Window and Door since the mid-80s. He took over the family business from his father who had been running the company since the 1960s. If you have any questions or issues that are unable to be resolved by other staff members, this is the man to talk to!
Tim Womack
What's more important than price or quality? Installation. Even the best replacement window in the world isn't worth much if it's installed incorrectly. Tim Womack has been installing windows for Capitol Window and Door for over eleven years and has been working in home improvement for even longer than that. Tim is the type of person that believes anything worth doing is worth doing right. His ethics are shown in his work and in our customer reviews. Many of our repeat customers make sure that Tim will install the job before they place their window order. Before you let someone start cutting holes in the side of your home, make sure the person doing the work is someone you can trust!
QUALITY
Even if installed correctly, the quality of your replacement window still makes a big difference. At Capitol Window and Door, we manufacture our Poly-Tex® 4000 and the Ultimate 5000 lines of replacement windows right here in Bowling Green. We personally inspect every window before it is sent to your home to make sure it conforms to the highest standards of quality!
PERSONALIZATION
The windows that we install in your home don't just come off a shelf somewhere. Each window is custom built specifically for each window opening in your home and per the exact options you specify. And if you need something we can't manufacture, we have access to a virtually endless number of options through our partners!
DURABILITY
Not all replacement windows are the same. Although most look very similar, it's what's inside that makes a big difference! All of our windows are made from 100% virgin vinyl. All of our vinyl extrusions are double walled for extra strength, and all of the horizontal parts of the window sash contain aluminum reinforcement for additional strength. Extra strength means durability and security!
LONGEVITY
Capitol Window and Door has been building the Poly-Tex® line of vinyl replacement windows since 1984. Although the window has been updated as new technology has come out, it is basically the same window we were manufacturing in the 80’s. Why are we still selling the same window so many years later? If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
